The first female founded Scotch company nails delicious, affordable whisky

Like snowflakes, no two spirits are the same, and no two founding stories are either.  Sia's is particularly unique.
She was going through a break-up and began exploring her local whiskey shop as a new hobby.  It didn't take long for her to develop a passion and a palate for great Scotch, but she felt there was a hole in the market for great, affordable blended Scotch.  Necessity is the Mother of invention, and Carin Luna-Ostaseski, Sia's founder, had found her need.
Newly single, she realized she was not at all alone. Droves of people shared her need.  So she did what every 21st century entrepreneur wants to do, but rarely pulls off: crowd funded her first barrel of Whisky.  And with that, she became the first woman to start a Scotch company.

    Leopold Bros. - A cocktailer's dream distillery

We’ve all got favorite bottles but Leopold is one of our favorite spirits brands. They span the gamut of whiskey, gin, and liqueurs, and yet despite their breadth of selection, each spirit maintains an exceptional amount of depth.  As much as they are all delightful sippers, they are really a bartender's best friend, adding complexity, balance, and most importantly deliciousness to every cocktail.

Leopold Bros. is a family owned and operated distillery in Denver, Colorado. They malt their barley, mill their grains, ferment their mash and distill everything onsite. They don’t add artificial ingredients and they barrel and bottle everything by hand.
