Lunazul Primero is an Añejo tequila that’s aged in American white oak barrels for 18 months, then filtered eight times to achieve a crystal clear color while retaining the rich Añejo character. It shows complex aromas, with sweet oak, caramel, apple, and floral notes. The palate opens with a full body and notes of cooked agave, oak, aniseed, citrus, caramel, cinnamon, and eucalyptus notes. The finish is spicy and sweet in equal measure. Bottled at 40% abv.
