The Trident is a seafaring explorer’s Negroni, with Gin swapped out for the Scandinavian aquavit, artichoke based amaro Cynar standing in for Campari, and a dry fino sherry from Spain in place of sweet vermouth. Those are all tied together with a couple cheeky dashes of peach bitters for a Negroni variation that is truly worth its salt.
