This blend of rum from Guyana and Barbados is first aged for five years in ex-bourbon barrels before being moved to Jerez, Spain, where it ages a further three years in barrels that have been used to age Palo Cortado Sherry. The amber rum has aromas of rich pecan, vanilla and a touch of smoky oak. Ripe fruit follows on the balanced palate, elevated by vibrant tropical spice and layered with a touch of smokiness, hints of sherry, and an intriguing note of tobacco on the finish. Bottled at 40% abv.
