One of Compass Box's flagship whiskies, The Story of The Spaniard is a blend that has aged primarily in Spanish sherry and red wine casks. The whiskies are from a handful of distilleries, including Aberlour, Teaninich, Deanston, Glen Elgin, and a bit of Compass Box's proprietary highland malt blend. The resulting character is rich with spices, citrus oils, dried and fresh fruits, and pears poached in mulled wine. A rich and sumptuous whisky ideal for late night sipping. Bottled at 43% abv.
