A unique rum aged for seventeen years in Trinidad and Tobago in an ex-bourbon barrel before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to age for two more years in Europe. This rum is a blend of two casks, distilled in 2001 in a column still from fermented molasses. Mostly aged in a tropical climate, it presents marvelously woody, dry, and complex flavors. Bottled at cask strength, this rum possesses the elegance to equal an old cognac.
