TASTING CALENDAR

In light of Governor Newsom's executive order, we are putting tasting events on hold. The order calls for canceling even small gatherings where those attending cannot keep six feet apart. We remain open in store and online, and will continue to ship orders throughout California and provide same day local delivery from San Francisco to San Carlos. Posted tastings are pending, but not confirmed. We will continue to update as more direction and information becomes available.

We hold free tastings most Friday evenings, from 4:30 - 6:30 PM, and on some Saturday afternoons. 

Each week we host a new producer who will pour samples of their goods while answering any questions you might have! Tastings are open to all (21 and over).

March 20th, 4:30-6:30: MYRTLE BANK RUM

This single barrel, single estate, cask-strength, 100% pot still rum from Worthy Park Estate was aged for 10 years in the UK before being bottled at 60% abv without any additives of any kind, including coloring. Rich, lush, and funky, this is a fantastic example of Worthy Park's WPE Marque (rum recipe), the biggest ester-bomb they produce. Big classic Jamaican hogo joins a myriad of tropical fruits, including mango, banana, and passion fruit, along with vanilla, sharp barrel spice, and cocoa.

March 21st, 1:00-4:00: BULLEIT WHISKEY

Come by to try the premium end of the Bulleit range: Bulleit Barrel Strength Bourbon, Bulleit 10 Year Bourbon, and Bulleit 12 Year Rye! Bulleit Bourbon is distilled from a high rye mash bill for a bold, spicy character with a distinctively smooth, clean finish. Kentucky limestone-filtered water provides a foundation for the bourbon's character, while charred American oak barrels lend a smoky backbone. Bulleit Rye, made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley, is a whiskey with unparalleled spice and complexity.

March 27th, 4:30-6:30: BLUECOAT ELDERFLOWER GIN

From the first craft distillery in Pennsylvania since Prohibition, Bluecoat Gin is made from 100% certified organic botanicals. While London Dry gins are typically dominated by juniper flavoring, Bluecoat presents a complex, yet light and refreshing citrus blend, comprising primarily of sweet citrus and lemon peels. The infusion of organic elderflower through a maceration process gives Bluecoat's gin a light floral taste and heady fragrance. Originally a distillery exclusive, this special bottling was so popular it has become a permanent part of the Bluecoat line.

March 28th, 1:00-4:00: TANQUERAY SEVILLA ORANGE GIN

Tanqueray's newest release is Sevilla Orange Gin, a new flavor that epitomizes sunshine in a glass with its bittersweet orange taste and warm hints of spice. Founder Charles Tanqueray had an obsession with creating the world's finest gin. In this pursuit, he sourced botanicals from all around the world and created over 300 recipes. One recipe captured the sun-soaked taste of Seville orange groves in a recipe during the nineteenth century. His archival recipe inspired the creation of this new liquid. Tanqueray Sevilla Orange is an ideal complement for bright, fresh cocktails like Negronis, Sevilla Orange & Tonic, and more.
