For this special bottling, Bardstown Bourbon Company take a 10 year Tennessee Bourbon and finish it for 19 months in Pfifer Pavitt Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from Napa Valley. The result is stunning, with a nose that brings forth honey, milk chocolate, raspberry jam, and oak. On the palate, toasted oak, raisins, dark chocolate, currants, cooked cherries, sweet corn and caramel, with a lush mouthfeel and a subtle sweet finish, lingering on the jammy notes. Bottled at a cask strength of 50% abv.
