Jim Beam brings back an age stated version of Basil Hayden’s to the market with the limited edition Basil Hayden’s 10 Year. Like the standard version, Basil Hayden’s 10 Year is created using Jim Beam’s high-rye mashbill that is found in Old Grand-Dad and Old Grand-Dad 114.
The nose shows summer fruits, oak, and honeyed vanilla. The palate is soft, woody, and sweet, with more vanilla, toffee, and a faint hint of rye spice. The finish is short and easy, much like the original Basil Hayden's, but with a more prominent flash of oak tannin. Bottled at 40% abv.
