Cadenhead Kilkerran 13 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Distilled by Glengyle* in 2011 and aged initially in ex-bourbon casks before finishing in ex-ruby port casks, this independently bottling of Kilkerran for the Cadenhead Original Collection is presented without chill filtration or color added at 92 proof. The nose features a lovely layer of jammy fruits and toffee pudding over the familiar Kilkerran profile of citrus, salinity, and mile peat smoke. The palate has notes citrus fruit, smoked brisket, rhubarb, and dark fruit jam. On the finish, more smoked meat flavors along with earthy peat smoke and some sweet dark fruit.
