Elijah Craig Barrel Proof remains one of the bourbon world's great deals, offering aged stated, full proof, classically robust Kentucky bourbon at a relatively affordable price. Retaining the 12 year age statement that the regular small batch bottling used to have, this is truly mature whiskey, well oaked and rounded. The C921 release shows its age clearly and well, with notes of musty charred oak, nutmeg, tobacco, butterscotch, chocolate caramels, and cigar box. Bottled at 60.1% abv.
