Found North "Batch 011" 18 Year Cask Strength Whisky

Composed of nine (!) different component whiskies* aged from 18-24 years, Batch 011 from Found North features a derived mash bill of 91% corn, 8% rye, and 1% malted barley. It is bottled without chill filtration or additives of any kind at a cask strength of 128.8 proof. The nose presents earthy baking spice, green herbs, and sweet oak. On the palate, look robust flavors of caramel, dark chocolate, cinnamon, clove, toasted marshmallow, mint, and black cherry. A lingering finish leaves you with notes of baking spice, dark fruit, and rich oak.

*Blend details: 18, 23, and 24 year corn in new oak; 18, 20, and 24 year corn in ex-bourbon; two different 19 year ryes in ex-bourbon; Peregrine First Flight aged in new oak.
