Established in 1857 by Lazaro Gallardo, Grand Centenario remains a family-owned business and is crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico at La Hacienda Los Camichines. Reportedly the first ever “extra anejo tequila” - a designation established in 2006 for tequilas aged three years or longer. This is as smooth a spirit as you’ll find (especially in the tequila world), offering spearmint tones on the nose and very surprising citrus character alongside deep vanilla notes in the body from all that time in wood. Orange and spice linger on the finish, giving way to a minty finale that is crystal clear and silky clean. One of the best tequilas on the market.
