Formerly bottled under the Old Fitzgerald label - Heaven Hill's wheated bourbons were rechristened as Larceny in 2012, a nod to the story of treasury agent John E Fitzgerald, who would thieve jugs of whiskey for himself from the best barrels. When it came time to empty them, the lightest barrels always ended up holding the smoothest bourbon. In 2020, the Barrel Proof variant was launched, with only three releases a year, it quickly became a favorite - albeit elusive bottling - amongst whiskey fans for its combination of bold and rich flavors.

Compared to A122, this Larceny is a little more the sweet gentle giant, though the proof isn't much different (61.92%). Flavors of cinnamon and brown sugar, sweet dark cherries, graham cracker, and nutella.
LARCENY SMALL BATCH BOURBON
A wheated Bourbon with a soft, rounded character. The mild crème brulee aroma leads into sasparilla and creamy caramel flavors. At 92 proof, it’s a wonder that the alcohol feels so moderate, but it makes its presence known in the cinnamon-firework finish.
EVAN WILLIAMS BLACK LABEL BOURBON
Compare Heaven Hill's wheated bourbon bottlings to their classic mash bill - most famously captured in this cult value Evan Williams bottling, commonly found atop best well whiskey round ups. Vanilla and cherry cola with a good amount of spice. Balanced out by assertive oak palate. Mouthfeel is heavier on the front and dissipates quickly for a brief finish.
