Tendu California Red Wine 2017
This red blend, composed of Aglianico, Montepulciano, and Barbera, was styled after the delicious, food-friendly bistro wines of Italy and France. Made by critically acclaimed winemaker, Steve Matthiasson, this wine is light, fresh, and balanced with mouthwatering acidity and great structure. Fruity and refreshing, though not sweet, this red blend is the perfect wine to sip on with hors d'oeuvres while outside on a sunny day out sailing or at the beach. Fermented in stainless steel barrels and aged in neutral oak, this wine is best enjoyed slightly (or even moderately) chilled. The crown cap and 1L format bottle are a reminder that this wine is meant to be enjoyed in its youth, but don't let that fool you. This is a high quality red made by an expert winemaker, at a great value.
