The lone standout in an otherwise all wine finished lineup, the Cognac finish takes the Bourbon+Grape theme of Thomas S. Moore all the way to its farthest flung corners. Cognac casks lend a wonderful sheen to the whiskey, giving it an airy nose of orange oils, berries, and sweet promises of what is to come. The palate takes over with more orangeyness in the form of marmalade, vanilla bean, and leathery spice. The finish is dry, lingering, and complex. Bottled at 46.7% abv.
