From Woody Creek Distillery in Basalt, Colorado, this vodka is made from locally harvested Rio Grande potatoes, mashed fresh and distilled only once to bring you a rare vodka with a character all its own. This puts it firmly in the newly emerging "residual flavor" vodka category, where aromas and flavors of the raw material are allowed to shine through, rather than being distilled multiple times to achieve a neutrality. The distillation to a lower proof also creates a more lush and velvety texture. Bottled at 40% abv.
