Anisetta Meletti is a renowned Italian aniseed liqueur, produced in Ascoli Piceno since 1870 according to an original recipe by Silvio Meletti. It is made using local green anise from the Marche region along with a few other secret aromatic herbs. Then it is distilled in a double boiler still. The result is a sweet, aromatic liqueur that is excellent as a digestif or in espresso.
