Buffalo Trace 'Single Barrel Select 2025' Bourbon

For modern American whiskey drinkers, Buffalo Trace needs no introduction. We are always happy to select a barrel of their excellent bourbon, and doubly so when we get to do it in Frankfort.

Selected onsite in Kentucky, this barrel was distilled from Buffalo Trace's lower-rye "Mash Bill #1" and bottled at 90 proof. The nose offers scents of black cherry, buttery pastry, toffee, cinnamon, and sweet oak. On the palate, rich cherry is supported by flavors of caramel, milk chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and baking spice. The finish leaves you with spiced cherry, cocoa, and a touch of oak. A standout barrel even for the always stellar Buffalo Trace, this one drinks like liquid cherry pie.
