Shipping

Alcohol Shipping starts at $12.99 for one standard bottle, and $17.49 for our largest shipping box, which holds 9 standard bottles. Additional charges may apply for heavier items or orders that ship in multiple boxes. Items are shipped as photographed, to receive original packaging (gift tins, boxes, etc), please request in the special instructions field of the shopping cart. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Adult Verification is always required, an adult over 21 will need to be present to accept delivery. We cannot ship to PO Boxes. Alcohol can be shipped within California only. We are not able to ship alcohol to other states, or to international addresses.

Bar Supplies (non-alcoholic items) ship anywhere in the United States, for the carrier calculated rate.

If an order is returned after multiple delivery attempts, or canceled after it has shipped, there will be a $25 returned shipment fee.

Local Delivery

Local delivery is available for San Francisco and select Peninsula cities for a $10 delivery fee. Search for your zip code on this page to see if you are in our delivery zone. The order minimum for local deliveries is $50.

By default deliveries are scheduled for the next day, they can also be scheduled up to 7 days in advance during checkout. When our courier partner collects your order, a tracking link will be sent by text with a delivery ETA. Deliveries are made between Noon and 3 PM daily. An adult over 21 must be present to accept the delivery. If the courier isn't able to complete the delivery, there will be a $25 returned delivery fee.

Store Pickup

Order online and collect in person by choosing Store Pickup during checkout. If an order has not been picked up in 30 days and the purchaser cannot be reached, it will be canceled and refunded, minus a 10% restocking fee.

Returns

Bar Supplies may be returned or exchanged within 30 days. By law alcohol sales are final. Cancelled orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee. We do our best to update listings with current vintage and batch details. If you are interested in a specific vintage or batch, please check before ordering.

FAQs

When will my purchase ship?

We ship Monday through Friday, and orders generally ship within 1-2 business days after being placed. An email confirmation with carrier and tracking information will be sent when your order is shipped.

Which carrier will my purchase ship with?

All alcohol is shipped via express carrier GLS. Orders for bar supplies will ship via GLS, UPS, or USPS.

What happens if the shipping carrier is unable to deliver my package?

If a shipment is returned after multiple delivery attempts, we can reship to a new address for an additional shipping fee. If there is no alternate shipping address, we will refund the order minus a $25 returned shipment fee. If you're having trouble with your delivery, contact us as soon as possible, we're always happy to help.

How can I change my shipping address or cancel my order?

If you need to change your address or cancel an order, email us at hello@bittersandbottles.com. If the order has already shipped, a $15 rerouting fee will be charged to cover the address change. Cancelled orders will incur a 10% restocking fee.

What should I do if items are damaged in transit?

Email us at hello@bittersandbottles.com with photo documentation and we will issue a refund or send a replacement.

Why does my package require adult verification?

Alcohol shipments require adult verification to ensure they aren't delivered to underage recipients. It is recommended that you provide an address where you know an adult will be available to sign.

How long do I have to collect my Store Pickup order?

Store Pickup orders will be held for 30 days. After this period, if arrangements have not been made, the order will be cancelled and a refund will be issued, minus a 10% restocking fee. If the refund window set by your credit card company has expired, a store credit will be issued minus a 10% restocking fee.

Do Store Credits expire?

Store credits expire one year after date of issue.
