Guiseppe Borsci created the recipe for this rare elixir in 1840 using ancient monastic recipes of an oriental medicinal concoction as his guide. All of the ingredients are 100% natural with a secret blend of Oriental spices at its core. Fourth generation Edigio Borsci still oversees production at the distillery in San Marzano. The rum base really shines through with additional notes that include bubble gum, spicy cinnamon, kola, mauby root, dried cherries, coffee, cocoa and saffron. Think of it as half amaro, half spiced rum. Bottled at 38% abv.
