Distilled from the special "King of Kentucky" mash bill using 79% corn, 11% rye, and 10% malted barley, this single barrel release entered the barrel on November 15, 2007 and was aged for over 17 years in Warehouse J before bottling without chill filtration at 122.8 proof. This barrel, #14, only produced 95 bottles due to high angel's share loss. This is a rich, intense, well-aged bourbon featuring an oily texture and robust notes of mature oak, dark brown sugar, cherry, raisin, cocoa, leather, stewed apples, tobacco, and baking spice.
