A new release under the King of Kentucky brand from Brown-Forman, King of Kentucky Small Batch is a blend of barrels aged from 12-18 years. The derived mash bill is 75% corn, 15% rye, and 10% malted barley and Batch 2 is bottled at 107.5 proof. On the nose, fruity scents of fig and date mixes with tobacco and mature oak. The palate features flavors of cinnamon, clove, and pepper with sweet molasses underpinning the spice. The finish lingers with dry oak and baking spice.
