Widow Jane "The Vaults" 15 Year Old & Rare Bourbon 2024 Release

A blend of bourbons distilled in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee, Widow Jane's 2024 "The Vaults" release was aged in new American oak for 15 years before finishing in Amburana* casks. The finished blend was proofed with New York limestone water before bottling without chill filtration at 99 proof. The nose provides enticing scents of cola, cinnamon, toasted oak, amaretto, and butterscotch. On the palate, the cola and cinnamon notes are joined by raisin, shortbread cookie, and a sweet herbal flavor. The finish is complex, weaving between aged oak. tobacco, green herbs, and tropical fruit.

*Amburana is a tropical wood traditionally used to age Cachaca, a Brazilian sugarcane spirit somewhat similar to Agricole rum.
