Willett Family Estate 4 Year Bourbon

Following in the delicious and successful footsteps of their small batch rye, Willett has launched a similar Family Estate Small Batch Bourbon. Each batch will be made of about 50 barrels* and, though they carry a 4 year age statement, will be made of barrels of varying levels of maturity. Like the rye, each batch will have a slightly different profile and barrel proof. The first release is bottled at 125 proof.

*Barrels of two different mash bills are used. 70% of the blend is made of whiskey with a mash of 52% corn, 38% rye, and 10% malted barley. The remaining 30% is made of whiskey with a mash of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% malted barley.
