Produced in Barbados, Taylor's Velvet Falernum was first created by John D. Taylor of Bridgetown in 1890 and has since gone on to be a bar essential. Lovingly created by the experts at Foursquare Distillery, Velvet Falernum comes in at just 11% in alcohol and is made with sugar cane, lime, almond and cloves. It adds a tasty, sweet, extra dimension to a wide range of contemporary cocktails, and most frequently used in Tiki drinks (love ours in a Rum Swizzle). This is considered the original Falernum.
