Ardbeg's Uigeadail* is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks before bottling without chill filtration or color added at a robust 104.4 proof. The nose presents scents of smoke, dark fruit, earthy peat, and a touch of brine. On the palate, dark flavors of smoke, cocoa, earthy peat, and blackberry dance around lighter notes of citrus, brine, honey, and graham cracker. The lengthy finish leaves tastes of campfire smoke, fruit jam, and a touch of wood spice.
