Product details
At this point a modern classic, this is the evergreen bottle that introduced many bourbon drinkers to cask finishing for the first time. The practice that had been seen in the malt whisky world for ages, but was little utilized in American whiskey, which has ever been focused on the signature character of solely new oak. Named for the “angel’s share,” this golden amber spirit is finished in Port barrels after the initial aging in new oak, for juicy red-fruit notes that slide into the long finish. Look for orange peel, vanilla and roasted nut flavors, too. Bottled at 43.3% abv.
- One of the smoothest bottles you can get! Fantastic pallet, especially for under $50!
- Smooth, sweet, syrupy and lovely. No harsh aftertaste. Perfect for beginners.
- One of my favorite go to bourbons. Adding water really opens up the flavors and sweetness!

Great product.
Great rep.
Very smooth.
A Paper Plane with Angel’s Envy Bourbon turns into a reason to wish every Friday evening your cabinet was properly stocked. A drop More Angel’s Envy and it’s perfect.
This is definitely one of the smoothest bottles you can get! Fantastic pallet, especially for under $50! Can’t rave enough about this bottle!
Bottom line, Angel’s Envy is a smooth, easy to drink bourbon. The port barrel finish adds hints of red fruit to the palate without adding significant sweetness. A good pour, however, it’s always difficult to come by and priced relatively high.
Always consistent and never disappointing.
Purchased this on a recommendation of a friend. Scotch and certain whiskey have gotten so expensive as late due to tariffs and Pandemic liquor consumption. This is exceptionally smooth and great tasting. A step up from Eagle Rare 10 year and likely a step below Pig Whistle (which is out of my price range). HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Very good bourbon
This is one of my favorite go to bourbons on a regular basis. Adding a small splash of water before drinking really opens up the flavors and the sweetness!
Love this bourbon! Smooth, sweet, syrupy and lovely. No harsh aftertaste
