Bardstown "Lochs of Jura" Collaboration Series Bourbon

The latest release in Bardstown Bourbon Company's Barrel Finish Series is a bespoke blend* of bourbon and rye that was finished for 32 months (!) in barrels that previously held single malt Scotch Whisky from the Isle of Jura. The finished blend is then bottled at 104 proof. The nose presents aromas of orange peel, mint, tobacco, caramel, and light baking spice. The palate brings flavors of citrus, chocolate, mint, caramel, mango, oak, and cinnamon. On the finish, notes of lemon zest, cocoa, leather, and baking spice invite another sip. This unique whiskey won first place in the 2026 International Wine and Spirits Competition with a score of 99 points.

*Blend composition: 10 year Indiana rye (95% rye, 5% malted barley); 11 year Indiana bourbon (75% corn  21% rye, 4% malted barley) and 12 year Kentucky bourbon (75% corn, 13% rye, 12% malted barley)
