This traditional orange-based French bitter is a deep, complex equivalent to the fabled Amer Picon. Flavors include sweet caramel and classic bitter agents including cinchona and gentian. Bitter oranges and botanicals give way to a bitter and spicy-sweet finish.

Delicious and fun in its exotic way. I've looked long and hard for Amer Picon (almost impossible to find in the US), and Torani Amer just isn't the same. But this is a great alternative, and solidly pleasant.
As a comparison with homemade Picon that uses the rind off special oranges. Also Torani Amer.
Not sure where else to post this 🤷 but recommend trying 1.5oz Reposado Tequila 0.5oz China China 2 dashes mole bitters. Shaken. Enjoy :)
You can put it into cocktails and they are great, but it's a shame to do anything but drink it alone. It really needs nothing else to be great!
Absolutely love this!
I am very pleased. Lots of clove and cinnamon up front and lots of orange in the back. Very good sipper. I’m not too sure how it would work in a mixed drink, but it’s great on its own
My mixologist at Sidecar Jacksonville, added this to a Negroni cocktail. I could never go back to traditional after that. The China China raised to a higher level of drink.
Cheers!
Was glad that my enjoyment of this at a bar in Detroit wasn't a "place in time" experience. Tasted just as delicious in my own home in SoCal. Enjoyed it neat, though it would stand up nicely to a couple ice cubes...
