Bulleit 12 Year Frontier Rye Whiskey

Distilled by MGP in Indiana from their 95% rye and 5% malted barley mash bill, this whiskey aged for at least 12 years before bottling at 92 proof.  For the 2024 release, Bulleit has included barrels aged as long as 17 years!  The resulting whiskey is very tasty.  On the nose, dusty old rye notes mingle with bubblegum, caramel, mint, and oak.  The palate begins with flavors of mint-lemonade and shortbread with some pine, melon, and rye spice arriving a beat later.  The finish shows off the whiskey's age with musty oak, leather, cinnamon, and rye spice.  This is a delicious, affordable, old rye whiskey at a great price!
