Crafted from 100% Nebbiolo vines planted in the iconic, south-facing Rabajà cru of Barbaresco, this 2020 vintage from Cascina Luisin represents benchmark traditional Piedmontese winemaking. The nose opens with haunting aromas of crushed dried rose petals, sour red cherries, tar, liquorice, and wild herbs. On the palate, it reveals a tightly woven structure with firm, velvety tannins, vibrant food-friendly acidity, and a deep core of dark raspberry, star anise, and crushed limestone minerality. Aged gracefully in large Slavonian oak cask (botti), it offers exceptional depth, balance, and aging potential.
