Cruzan Black Strap Rum

Produced as an homage to the image of old Caribbean Navy style rums, Cruzan Black Strap is a lightly aged column still rum from St. Croix that is flavored and colored to evoke an almost impossibly dark, heavy, and foreboding rum. 

Toasty aromas of molasses, black coffee and road tar, then bittersweet oatmeal stout ale, licorice, dark cocoa, and pipe tobacco. Palate sweeter and dark chocolate-like; at midpalate, tastes of bacon fat, oak resin and creamy brown sugar. Perfect as a dark float atop your favorite tropical libation.
