Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon

Nice brown sugar notes good for a special occasion since it is hard to find other wise it's a good daily drinker.

The nose is really the best part of this bourbon. I won’t bore you with all the fancy adjectives. It simply has a great nose, heavy on the cherry or stone fruit, vanilla, rye and mint, but it’s very lacking on the complexity on the tongue for me. I think the lower proof stifles, what could be its strengths. Definitely needs to be enjoyed neat the get what it really has to offer. So it’s worth $39.50 here but not the hype to get it if more than that. I’d go for a Taylor Small Batch first if given the chance and the price wasn’t inflated.

Great bottle of bourbon. Can’t go wrong with a buffalo trace product.

Also thought this was amazing. Buffalo Trace was my favorite, and this takes the 1 spot for taste and price point!

A 10 year aged buffalo trace mash bill1 at this price! That alone should be enough to buy! Then you ad the fact that this bourbon is a sipper. More of a desert bourbon sweet on the front and caramel and vanilla on the back.

I have been drinking this bourbon for years. Apparently it has been discovered because now I have problems getting a bottle. It is well priced for a very good bourbon. Please keep in stock.

Solid bourbon with everything you would want in a dram. Nice oak barrel notes but loaded with vanilla short bread and muted warming pie spice. Some bottles get a touch of earthy note usually mushroom but it is overall solid and consistent. Good introduction to bourbon not overly complex but well balanced.

I like this bourbon so much I have two bottles on my shelf.

One of the best bourbons for the price. Getting a 10 year old bourbon for under $40 is a steal. The finish is smooth and warm. A must have on the bar and a gate way bourbon to better allocated bottles.
