Elephant London Dry Gin is a handcrafted premium gin of 45% ABV that captures the spirit of Africa. Its innovative blend of 14 botanicals combines rare African ingredients with fresh apples that make Elephant Gin distinct from any other (other botanicals inlcude: Juniper, Ginger, Mountain Pine, Orange Peel, Pimento, Cassia Bark, Elderflower, Lavender, Buchu, Baobab, African Wormwood, Lion's Tail, and Devil's Claw). The gin’s distinct nose first yields a subtle juniper aroma, with an undertone of mountain pine and other herbaceous notes. The taste is complex but strikingly smooth, encompassing floral, fruity and spicy flavors, which can be enjoyed both straight or in a cocktail.
Elephant Gin is made one hour east of Hamburg, Germany in a traditional copper pot still in very small batches - around 600 bottles per run. Focused on resolutely artisan production methods, all ingredients are carefully checked for impurities. Elephant Gin uses no artificial flavoring, and proofs their products down with locally sourced spring water. The corks that seal the bottles are sourced from Portugal, where the natural cork is harvested every seven years.
With every bottle sold, Elephant Gin contributes 15% of profits to organisations devoted to the conservation of the African elephant.
