Forty Nine Mile Straight Bourbon

Forty Nine Mile Straight Bourbon is named for the scenic Forty Nine Mile Route through San Francisco.  It is distilled from a mash bill of 70% corn, 24% rye, and 6% malted barley, aged for at least seven years on the coast of Mendocino County, California, and bottled at 90 proof.  On the nose you can find scents of vanilla, oak, orchard fruit, and caramel.  The palate is easy drinking with caramel, brown butter, light orchard fruit, and tobacco-y oak.  The oak lingers through a pleasant finish, where it is joined by butterscotch sweetness.
