Frank August Case Study: 07 French Connection Whiskey

A nod to the unique connection between France and the United States, Frank August's Case Study #7 features a blend of Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Kentucky Straight Rye finished in ex-Calvados, ex-Caribbean rum, and ex-Martinique rum casks bottled at 107.4 proof. On the nose, apple and pear combine with toasted coconut, vanilla, raw sugar, caramelized banana, and a touch of molasses. The palate has notes of bright fruit, caramel, baking spice, baked pineapple, and molasses. The finish lingers with flavors of tropical fruit, brown sugar, and baking spice.
