Frank August Case Study: 08 Winter Wheat Reserve Bourbon

For Case Study 08 Frank August carefully selected and blended barrels of Kentucky wheated bourbon distilled in the winter and aged for more than eight years. The blend was bottled without chill filtration at a cask strength of 108.8 proof. The nose presents scents of brown butter, creme brulee, pear, toasted pecan, and sweet oak. The palate has flavors of rich caramel, butterscotch, cherry, baking spice, leather, and dark chocolate. A lengthy finish leaves lingering notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and gentle baking spices.
