Nestled in the heart of the Lake Tahoe Watershed is Frey Ranch and Distillery, one of only a handful of American grain to glass distilleries. For their Bottled-in-Bond Rye, The mash bill is made up of 100% estate grown winter rye, aged at least four years in new oak and then bottled at 50% abv.
On the nose, there is vibrant citrus, particularly orange zest, followed by grain, molasses, vanilla, and herbs. The Palate follows with much of the same, with an assertive oakiness, leather, plum, and burnt sugar.

It’s honestly the best Rye I’ve ever tasted. (I am a bit biased since I work for Frey Ranch!)
This is a rye that is grown, distilled, and distributed by one provider, Frey Ranch. It has a wonderful spicy intro with a nice vanilla finish. It easy to be a Frey Ranch Bourbon and Rye enthusiast. You can smell and taste the quality in every sip!
The nose of this 100 proofer lets you know you are in for a treat and the flavors upon first sip do not dissapoint. A top tier rye.
