James E Pepper Decanter Edition Barrel Proof Bourbon

A blend of bourbon whiskies distilled at the James E Pepper Distillery, the Decanter Edition Barrel Proof Bourbon is aged at least five years before bottling (in a gorgeous decanter) at 104.7 proof.  The nose offers fruity scents of apricot and grape with sweet oak and vanilla in the background.  On the palate, fruit leads the way again with flavors of peach, grape, golden raisin, and citrus followed by rye spice and toasted oak.  The finish features rye spice, cinnamon, dark dried fruit, and leather.  A lovely bourbon in a beautiful bottle!
