Distilled from Jim Beam's standard mash of 77% corn, 13% rye, and 10% malted barley, Jim Beam Black is aged for seven years before bottling at 90 proof. The nose features scents of charred oak, brown sugar, and vanilla. The palate brings flavors of vanilla, brown sugar, nut, and oak with some black pepper and tobacco on the finish.
