Heaven Hill Distillery's flagship "wheated" bourbon is distilled from a mash bill of 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley and bottled at 92 proof. The nose is sweet with notes of bread dough, buttercream, and caramel. On the palate, a bit of cinnamon spice opens the sip before soft fruit, honey, and caramel sweetness arrive. The finish has a pop of cinnamon spice with more honey sweetness and a bit of maple. Overall a pleasant, easy sipper that can be enjoyed neat.

Was introduced by a bartender as “what Maker’s Mark wish it was” and he was not wrong.
Overall not a bad bourbon. If you like a wheat bourbon but can’t get your hands on weller to try then this is your bourbon. It’s in the range of weller special reserve and makers mark. Good entry pour for a good low price. It’s a little hot on the finish
For the price you can’t beat it. Especially when Weller is so hard to find at this price point.
This is one of those bourbons that I always have in my “arsenal”. For the price it’s quite exceptional.
Way better than Jack Daniels, and great value. Will buy again, for sure!
