Leyla Artisanal Arak

Arak is a traditional anise flavored spirit from the Middle East. Leyla Artisanal Arak is the first arak made here in California. 

It is crafted using only two ingredients: California grapes and amoseed, with zero additives.  The spirit is triple-distilled for smoothness and aged for a minimum of 6 months to develop complexity. It has a bold yet elegant licorice flavor and aroma.

Mix Leyla Arak with cold water and it will turn a milky white color. This phenomenon is known as "louch" just like as you will see with Absinthe or Pastis.
