Lost Lantern Cask Strength United States of Bourbon

The United States of Bourbon is an utterly unique, painstakingly planned, and flawlessly executed blend of straight bourbon whiskies from all 50 states. Lost Lantern founders Nora and Adam personally visited each and every distillery included in this bourbon and, as usual, are fully transparent about each component* whiskey. Though a fifty bourbon blend had plenty of potential for disaster, Lost Lantern have masterfully blended wildly different whiskies into a cohesive, rich, unique, and delicious whiskey.

The nose presents robust aromas of caramel, fudgy brownie, praline, dark fruit, tobacco, and earthy oak. On the palate, fruit and spice flavors of blend and overlap giving off flashes of flavors like blueberry, cherry, nutmeg, plum, cola, and seasoned oak. A long finish evolves from berry cobbler to grape, fig, leather, tobacco, and barrel char. This is an incredible whiskey and an absolute masterclass in blending from Lost Lantern. Bottled without chill filtration at 123 proof, only 3,300 bottles were created.
