Michter's "U.S. 1" Small Batch Unblended American Whiskey is beautifully aromatic with notes of butter, strawberry shortcake, almond, caramel and vanilla. This richness continues on the palate with an enticing sweetness, and ends with an incredibly smooth finish.
The whiskey is made from a Bourbon mashbill, but is aged in once used barrels, rounding the edges, cutting down on the intense wood influence, and keeping it from being classified as Bourbon. Bottled at 41.7% abv.
