A blend of rums from West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados and Long Pond and Clarendon Distilleries in Jamaica. The rums are briefly aged in ex-bourbon barrels in their home countries before being brought to the Chateau Bonbonnet in France, where they finish their aging together in Ferrand Cognac barrels.
Elements of funk and bright tropical fruit shine through from the Jamaican rums, and the Bajan rums lend rich notes of plum, vanilla, cinnamon and clove. A perfect balance of big flavors that make this an ideal cocktailer, whether in a 15 ingredient tiki extravaganza or a simpler format like a rum old fashioned or a dark spin on a daiquiri.

Really good tasting rum.
This is a reasonably priced rum that is great for tiki drinks, a rum OF or an elevated Rum Coke.
Smooth and nice flavor.
No over the top fruit or spice.
I mean seriously, they are all really good. This one has deep spice flavor you would expect from a “Dark” rum.
It’s better than Meyer’s. It’s also cheaper. You won’t regret your purchase.
This has just the right amount of heft and molasses funk for a dark rum. Wildly good value.
