This cask strength bottling was aged for 2 years in Barbados before being moved to France to age another year in Ferrand Cognac casks. Bottled at 59% abv, the nose shows an elegant fruitiness, with ripe apricot, orange oils, dried fig, and mango. The palate is smooth and full bodied, with coconut, cocoa, and vanilla bean, with a touch of toasted almond. The finish is long and refined, with ripe banana and dark chocolate, with a lingering oak spice at the tail end.
