Distilled from molasses on a column still and aged 15 years in Belize before moving to Cognac, France to age an additional 4 years in Ferrand cognac casks, this Belize rum is rich, deep, and inviting. The nose shows notes of rich vanilla, warm cinnamon and ripe banana, followed by a hint of leather and cocoa. The palate is full of chocolates and cherries, with a buttery mouthfeel and plenty of spice cabinet warmth, from clove to nutmeg to anise, finishing with a touch of honey and coffee.
Bottled at 60.4% abv.
