From Haiti's Rhum Barbancourt, this special rum aged 19 years in Haiti before making its way to France to age another year in Ferrand Cognac casks. Made from cane juice and distilled on a column still, it is bottled at an exceptionally low cask strength of 43.8%, giving all the fullness of undiluted spirit without the heat. It is uniquely complex, balancing dark chocolate and oak with bright notes of lemongrass, lime zest, and green tea. Toasted almond and tonka bean appear on the finish.
