Planteray 5 Year Barbados Rum

This is my 3rd bottle purchased. I also got this as a gift for my friend she loved it! Definitely an upgrade from white rum due to bolder complex flavours. My go-to for mixing cocktails such as Mai Tai, Zombie, Painkiller, Pago Pago.

Round, caramel flavor like an aged (real Cuban) Havana Club. Mix with Smith and Cross to get a smoother version of a funky Jamaican rum daiquiri. Mix with rum agricole to get a great grassy-caramel daiquiri. And at a great price. It does it all!

Nice on its own, but also makes for a great addition to a cocktail, especially fruit forward. Has the smoothness of a more expensive aged rum.

When I sipped this I thought it would be $50! It is so good and so cheap! This is my new favorite rum. Just wish I lived closer to the beach.
